Un Corazón al Fin del Mundo

Album dedicated to the Chilean idiosyncrasy, which presents a musical journey from its Spanish origins to the present day. It was created in response to the desire to leave a record for posterity, conceived by the pianist Hugo Llanos. It was recorded at the Auditorio del Complejo Andrónico Luksic in Santiago de Chile.

Many times demanded by the audience, today it is turned from a dream to a reality.
The work of a long time becomes in a physical result that will remain in the memories of each one of you.

The unique mixture between classical and folk music presents a rarely shown extraordinary feature, and this specific case reminds us of the cultural importance that this music has for the people of the end of the world, Chile. It also reveals how versatile an instrument of the classical world, the piano, can be, allowing it to be fully exploited for its lucidity, beauty and finesse.

Fantasía Chilena

It will be the next production of Hugo Llanos that will make you travel through time, to Chile of the 19th century. Composers such as Guillaume Deichert, Santiago Heitz and Fréderic Guzmán will be the focus of this album, who show their important musical perspective. Thanks to the european education they received, they managed to combine the characteristic Chilean music with the European romantic music tradition.

Since there are no recordings of this music, this record was conceived thanks to Hugo's historical and musical research and the desire to premiere the works, leaving the world a phonographic record of this part of Chile's history. And in this case, given that the artist is of Chilean origin, this gives greater importance to the realization of this production.

El Canto del cisne Negro

CD presented by "Duo selvaggio", duo formed by Nicole Pena Comas and Hugo Llanos Campos which explores a diverse program with still largely unknown compositions for cello and piano from Latin America. The title wasa inspired by the piece "O Canto do cisne negro" (The Song of the Black Swan) by the Brazilian composer Heitor Villa-Lobos.

The focus is on the two sonatas by Manuel Ponce and Constantino Gaito for this combination of instruments. The CD specially presents the work Otoño in Buenos Aires for Violoncello Solo by the mexican Composer José Elizondo.

All Latin American composers presented on this album have in common that they traveled to Europe and through nostalgia and admiration for their own cultural roots composed works dedicated especially to them. We share their experience, and their music resonates deeply with us.

The album was recorded at the wonderful Lisztzentrum Raiding by Recording Producer and Engineer Arpad Hagnagy and was produced by the German label ARS Produktion.
It is winner of the Silver Medal of the Global Music Awards 2021 and the Grand Frisson 2021. It also received award nominations at the Opus Klassik and Indie RD Awards.

The album is available on all digital platforms such as Spotify, Itunes, Amazon and others and can be purchased for example on Nicole Peña Comas' website, Amazon, Jpc, and others.
